Prior to BYU: Played Lacrosse at Brewster High School in Brewster, NY.
Coached by Lacrosse Hall of Fame member, Gerry Walsh.

Member of the Hudson Valley Empire State Lacrosse team, coached by former MLL New Jersey Pride coach and US Lacrosse Hall of Fame member, Ted Georgalis.

At BYU: Josh was a 3 Year starter, filling roles at both midfield and attack He was a member of the 2007 National Champion team and later served as Captain of the 2008 Cougars his senior year. That year he received MCLA All-America honors while helping lead the Cougars to a Semi-Final appearance.
Coaching: Josh now rejoins the Cougars in the coaching role to lead the offense. Prior to joining the BYU coaching staff, Josh coached the Pleasant Grove, UT varsity lacrosse program.

Education: Brigham Young University 2008, BA Communications, Public Relations. Business Management

Hometown: Brewster, NY

Family: Josh is happily married to his wife of 3 years, Tiffany Austin. Tiffany, a California native, assisted the BYU lacrosse program in various ways during Josh’s career as a player for the cougars, and even met Josh while doing sideline reporting for BYU TV.
